You can ask for a person to review any decision about your application at info@orbitqube.com.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience. These may include:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the website to function properly
  • Analytics and attribution cookies (only if you choose “Accept” on the cookie bar): Google Analytics 4 sets a first-party _ga cookie and reports anonymous usage (pages viewed, traffic source and campaign), and a first-party cookie set by this site (oq_attrib) records the marketing source (UTM/referral) of your visit so we can understand which campaigns work. If you decline, or make no choice, neither script loads and neither cookie is set. To change your choice later, clear this site's stored data in your browser and the cookie bar will appear again. Apart from these and Cloudflare's cookieless Web Analytics (aggregate, non-identifying metrics; see §4), we do not run any other analytics or behavioural-tracking script on this website.
  • Preference cookies: To remember your settings and preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of our website.

No advertising or cross-site behavioural tracking. Neither this marketing website (orbitqube.com) nor the OrbitQube Academy learning platform (lms.orbitqube.com) loads any advertising or cross-site behavioural-tracking script, and neither sets an advertising cookie. On this website, Google's advertising signals stay switched off even when you accept analytics; the learning platform loads no client-side Google Analytics. This website also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service that records aggregate, non-identifying metrics (page views, performance), cannot identify you, and does not track you across other sites (see §4). The Academy platform uses only session, CSRF-protection, and preference cookies necessary to operate the platform.

Server-side conversion analytics (consent-gated). Only when you give your analytics consent at sign-up on the Academy platform, the platform may send a small, pseudonymous server-side conversion event to Google Analytics 4 (via Google's Measurement Protocol) recording that a purchase occurred: a randomised account identifier plus the purchase value, currency, and the marketing source (UTM) of your visit. No name or email address is ever included, and no Google Analytics cookie or client-side Google script is used. This is never done for accounts identified as minors. See the processor list in §4 (Google LLC).

4. Sharing Your Information & Data Processors

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers (Data Processors): Trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our website, processing payments, sending emails, or delivering courses, bound by confidentiality obligations. For each we list the purpose and the data shared. Our current processors are:
    • Razorpay Software Pvt Ltd (India): payment processing for course fees; receives name, email, amount, and payment-instrument metadata.
    • Zoho Corporation (data centre: India): Zoho Books (invoicing / receipts) and Zoho CRM (enquiry / lead and contact management). The course discount-code-request form on the Academy platform sends your details to Zoho CRM. Receives name, email, phone (CRM only), course name, amount, and marketing-attribution / UTM data (UTM only with your analytics consent; never for minors).
    • Google LLC: Google Analytics 4 (GA4). We use (a) a client-side tag (gtag.js) that sets a first-party, randomly-generated _ga cookie and reports anonymous, aggregated usage (page views, traffic source and UTM campaign parameters), with IP addresses anonymised by Google; and (b) a server-side Measurement Protocol that sends a no-PII campaign-landing event on UTM-tagged arrivals, plus a conversion (purchase) event carrying a pseudonymous identifier, value, currency and UTM source. The purchase event is sent only with your analytics consent and never for minors. None of these signals include a name or email, and they do not track you across other websites.
    • BigBlueButton (self-hosted, live.orbitqube.com): live video sessions and recordings; processes your name and session participation.
    • Cloudflare, Inc.: content delivery / DNS, Turnstile bot-protection (the application forms load Cloudflare Turnstile), and Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service that may capture aggregate, non-identifying usage metrics (such as page views and performance) to help us understand site traffic; it sets no cookies and does not track you across other websites. Data processed globally per Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare also stores submissions from our contact, internship and trainer forms in its D1 database (Asia-Pacific region), and runs the AI assessment of internship and trainer applications on Cloudflare Workers AI. Cloudflare states that it does not use this content to train AI models. For an uploaded CV or LinkedIn profile, only the text extracted from it is stored there.
    • Resend, Inc. (United States): sends the notification emails for our website forms and our replies to applicants; receives your name, email address and the content of your submission, including any CV or LinkedIn file you upload, which is attached to our notification email. This involves a transfer of your data outside India.
    • Hostinger International: VPS hosting of the Academy learning platform (lms.orbitqube.com), in India.
  • Business Partners: With your explicit consent, for joint training programmes or co-branded offerings
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority in India
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where we will notify you in advance
  • Protection of Rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of OrbitQube, our clients, or others

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Specific retention periods:

  • Academy enrolment records & active account data: Retained while your account is active; deleted on request or after 5 years of inactivity with prior notice
  • Payment records & tax invoices (GST/Income-Tax): 8 years from the date of the transaction, as required by Indian law
  • Completion certificates: Retained indefinitely; these are permanent proof of completion
  • Activity logs (page views, lesson progress) and live-session recordings: 3 months (90 days) from the date of the activity or session, then auto-deleted
  • Project-related data (software/consulting): Duration of the engagement plus 5 years
  • Marketing enquiries and contact-form data: Up to 3 years from last interaction unless you request earlier deletion
  • Internship and trainer applications: 12 months from our last reply, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. This includes the text of any CV you uploaded.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted communications (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP §9), a person under 18 cannot give independent consent to data processing; a parent or lawful guardian must provide verifiable consent on the child's behalf.

Our Academy programmes offer courses designed for learners aged 10-18 (in the appropriate tracks). For these learners:

  • We require verifiable parental or guardian consent at sign-up before the minor's account becomes active.
  • We process the minor's data only on a parental-consent basis, limited to what is necessary to deliver the enrolled course and issue completion certificates.
  • We conduct no behavioural tracking, profiling, or targeted advertising directed at minors. Neither this marketing website (orbitqube.com) nor the Academy platform (lms.orbitqube.com) loads any client-side cross-site or behavioural-tracking script. (Cloudflare Web Analytics on the marketing site is cookieless and records only aggregate, non-identifying metrics; it cannot profile or identify any individual, including minors.)
  • The Academy's server-side conversion analytics (Google Analytics 4 (see §3 and §4) is disabled entirely for accounts identified as minors and never receives a minor's data; no marketing or attribution (UTM) data is sent to our CRM for minors, and the marketing email opt-out is set automatically.
  • Marketing and optional-analytics consent fields are suppressed entirely for accounts identified as minors. We require verifiable parental consent before processing a minor's data beyond what is necessary to deliver a purchased course.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately at grievance@orbitqube.com. We will delete the data promptly upon verification.
